Hi, my name is Brian. I am a fully qualified teacher from a Russell Group university with 14 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I have worked as a classroom teacher, examiner, Head of Humanities, Head of Pastoral Care, professional tutor, and resource creator for top academic organisations.

I am best suited for students who want to make significant, measurable improvements in their grades. My lessons include high-quality resources, exam practice, personalised feedback, and ongoing support. While I specialise in international curricula, I have extensive experience teaching AQA, SQA, Edexcel and OCR in the UK as well.

I am an UK qualified Geography teacher and tutor with over 20 years experience. I am an examiner for both GCSE / ALevel and IBDP exam boards and I have a proven track record of supporting students to achieve excellent examination results. In 2015, I qualified as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) and so have a thorough knowledge of how to differentiate work to support students to achieve their potential.

With over 18 years as Geography teacher, including 8 years as a Head of Department in an Independent School in Surrey, together with approaching 2 years as a full time tutor, Jonathan has outstanding subject knowledge across A Level Geography exam boards, including OCR, AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge International and WJEC and specialises in supporting students with exam technique across all ability profiles.
