About Me
I am a registered Chartered Management Accountant in practice providing accounting and tax services for a number of clients. I am also a qualified tutor and have been teaching professional accountancy qualifications since 2003.
I enjoy accounting and am priviliged to be able to tutor and support the next generation of aspiring accountants to hone their accountancy skills and achieve their professional qualifications.
I have completed AAT, CIMA and ACCA professsional exams, PGCE and a Masters by Reseach in Accounting at Bangor University.
Tutor Experience
I'm a fully qualified accountant and tutor with 20 years teaching experience. I have taught both face to face at local colleges and universities and also live online as a freelance tutor at Hone Financial. I obtained my PGCE teaching qualification via the University of Newport in 2006 and my Assessor (A1) and Internal Verifier (IV) Awards in 2007.
I enjoy supporting and helping students to Hone their accountancy skills.
I am keen to help students succeed in improving their subject knowledge, understanding and exam technique across all levels of accountancy qualifications both at university and with their professional accountancy qualifications .
At Hone Financial I successfully nominated students who were awarded commendations and shortlisted for the CIMA student of the year awards in 2020 and 2022. In 2024 our student nomination was awarded the prestigious CIMA Student of the Year Finalist certificate.
I have taught and currently teach modules on the AAT, ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW professional programmes and the CIPFA public accounting qualification.
