About Me

I achieved all 9s at GCSE, 4 A*s at A-level and a double first class Bachelor's degree. I also received the Gibbs Book Prize for outstanding academic performance in my finals examinations at Oxford, as one of the top students in my cohort.

Alongside pursuing a Master's degree, I also work as a research assistant to academics in Oxford's School of Geography and the Environment, working on the geopolitics of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation (UNPO).

Tutor Experience

I have over 3 years of freelance and agency tutoring experience, covering a range of subjects and specifications. I have worked with students at both GCSE and A-level aiming for a range of grades.

I also recently worked for two months as a consultant for tech-education company to build digital resources for revision and teaching for a new platform being launched, so I am very up-to-date with current specifications and exam question styles.

My tutoring style takes its lead from exam specifications, and I aim to help my students build their confidence up from them. By building tutoring sessions directly around the areas which students can identify with me as their weaker points from the exam specifications, I have consistently found it helps students to feel entirely confident when entering exams that they have a real understanding of the breadth of their subjects and that they are not going to be surprised by anything when they sit their papers, ultimately boosting performance.

I have also successfully supported many prospective Oxbridge applicants in humanities and social science subjects with personal statements, interview preparation and mocks and general advice for successful applications.

Topic Expertise

My academic expertise within geography lies within political geography and geopolitics, citizenship studies, migration politics and development studies.

I am comfortable tutoring across all exam boards at GCSE and A-level and to support admissions applications for Oxbridge and other competitive universities for social sciences and humanities.
