About Me
I have worked as a teacher for the past 5 years, and have been tutoring for the past 4 years. I have taught both Psychology and all 3 Sciences (both as separate sciences and the Combined Science course) to AQA, OCR and Edexcel students. My initial subject specialism within was Biology, though I probably teach more Chemistry and Physics these days.
For the past few years I have worked as an examiner for AQA in the summer series of exams. I'm now extremely accomplished at educating students in what an exam question is looking for, and how to spot signposting from questions on how to structure their answers.
Tutor Experience
5 years in both state and private schools in the United Kingdom, teaching every year group from Years 6 to 13, with a superb track record for improving student grade attainment and building positive relationships to help motivate students to be the best they can.
4 years tutoring experience, I've worked with students in a number of different subjects and in a one on one setting I both improve students' knowledge of the subject area, and increase revision strategy efficiency and exam technique.
