Opening pathways and transforming the impossible into possible for students is where my true passion lies. My greatest satisfaction is guiding you to discover that you are, indeed, capable of learning anything.
I have been working as an online tutor for over twenty years, initially using Skype, and I have consistently kept pace with the evolution of teaching methodologies and technological resources. Today, I use Zoom and other platforms, digital tablets, videos, simulations, artificial intelligence, and various other tools, always striving to enhance student learning experiences.
Students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, attention deficit, and autism have shown significant development and have achieved their educational goals.
My classes are direct and focused, featuring numerous exercises that help students develop their reasoning skills, empowering them to become capable and independent learners.
Over more than two decades, I have helped hundreds of students in mathematics and physics achieve their goals at school and university. More than one hundred have progressed from C or D to A within a few months through targeted instruction, structured practice, and study plans.
Gregory, an A‑Level physics student, could not move beyond a C despite working hard. After refining his study methods and adding four hours of weekly lessons on problem‑solving and exam technique, he earned an A in two months.
Mary, an A‑Level student in mathematics and physics, worked diligently but lacked confidence, and her results reflected it. Over three months, with six hours of tuition per week, deliberate revision cycles, and mindset coaching, her grades improved and she secured admission to Cambridge.
With Justine, a secondary‑school pupil diagnosed with ADHD, I collaborated with her family and teachers to develop strategies that supported attention and reduced cognitive overload—short, timed tasks, visual organisers, and goal‑based feedback. After six months, she moved from a D to a B in mathematics and became happier and more self‑assured.
Stories like these span all levels—Secondary, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, A‑Level, and Undergraduate—across physics and mathematics. With clear goals, consistent feedback, and personalised resources, students make lasting progress.
I have over 20 years of classroom experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at Dante Alighieri School, Palmares School, Rio Branco School, Albert Sabin School, and Saint Emeric School, serving at times as coordinator of the Physics department, where I mentored teachers and aligned curricula with academic standards.
At the tertiary level, I have taught Bachelor’s programmes in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, as well as Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, and Accounting, at Anhembi Morumbi University and Oswaldo Cruz Colleges. My approach blends rigorous content mastery with exam strategy and student‑centred coaching, turning effort into measurable results.

Very good teacher, learned a lot during my time having class with him.
I really enjoyed the math class today. The teacher explained everything very well.
Jose prepared well for the class, but his style did not suit my child. His English is at times hard to understand.
pretty fun class,and cool teacher
Class was great. Jose help me with everything. Thank you!
He is amazing.
He is really nice and always makes sure I understood everything.
Great feedback on my IA

This has been very helpful classes! He always sends worksheets full of questions to practice and explains concepts well.
Having Mathematics classes with Eduardo truly changed my life. I used to struggle with Mathematics since I was in primary school and believed I would never be able to understand it. However, Eduardo's patience and teaching methods helped me discover how to learn effectively. I gained confidence, and today, my grades in the IB program are excellent.

Professor Eduardo has fantastic experience and knowledge. I started Engineering without knowing anything about Math and Physics. I was able to learn these subjects and others (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Mecanics, Analitical Geometry, and Mechanics of Materials, within the engineering curriculum thanks to his unique methodology. I highly recommend him.

Eduardo was able to help me understand all the content of the GCSE Physics course quickly. He is patient and attentive. It was worth it.
